Security Operations Manager - Fort Collins

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 annually + up to 20% performance-based bonus

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is bringing on a District Manager to oversee several client sites in the Fort Collins area. This role is not strictly office-based you will be out in the field regularly, checking in on teams, handling issues as they come up, and making sure each location is running the way it should.

You will work directly with supervisors, officers, and clients, so clear communication and follow-through are important. The day-to-day can shift quickly, so being able to adjust and stay organized goes a long way here.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Oversee daily activity across multiple assigned sites
• Visit locations to check performance and address concerns
• Keep post orders and procedures up to date
• Step in when issues come up and help resolve them
  
  

Team Oversight

• Hire and onboard supervisors and security staff
• Build schedules and make sure coverage is in place
• Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action when needed
• Set expectations around professionalism and reliability
  
  

Client Communication

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients
• Respond to concerns and follow up as needed
• Attend meetings and provide updates on site performance
• Look for ways to improve service and strengthen relationships
  
  

Administrative Work

• Review reports tied to staffing, incidents, and operations
• Monitor timekeeping and scheduling for accuracy
• Track basic expenses and assist with budget awareness
• Keep records organized and current
  
  

Compliance and Safety

• Confirm all staff meet licensing and training requirements
• Review incidents and make sure proper follow-up happens
• Coordinate with emergency services when needed
• Reinforce safety expectations across all sites
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college experience is a plus)
• At least 3 years of experience in security operations or a related field
• Experience managing teams or multiple locations
• Basic understanding of security procedures and response protocols
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in contract security or multi-site operations
• Industry certifications such as CPP or PSP
• Familiarity with scheduling or reporting systems
  
  

Work Environment

• Mix of office work and regular field visits
• Travel between sites within the assigned area
