Security Shift Supervisor

Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise security personnel during assigned shifts, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
• Monitor CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or security breaches
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are followed and identify potential risks
• Manage access control procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
• Implement loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets and reduce theft or vandalism
• Maintain detailed shift reports, incident logs, and security documentation for accountability and review

Skills

• Proven experience in security operations with a strong understanding of security protocols
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively through conflict management skills and calm decision-making
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and law enforcement coordination
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and oversee a team of security personnel
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and coordination during high-pressure situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour
