Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The Security Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Houston office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors
• Conduct regular security assessments and make recommendations for improvements
• Monitor and respond to security alarms and incidents
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and investigations
• Train staff on security procedures and protocols
• Coordinate with external security agencies and law enforcement as needed
• Conduct background checks on new employees and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks
• Stay up-to-date with security best practices and industry developments
• Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid or other assistance as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• CPR and first aid certification preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
