Security/Fire Alarm Technician

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to install and service security and fire alarms, cameras, access control, and other low voltage systems
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to learn, understand, and apply codes, rules, standards, and requirements to meet specifications per site
• Ability to read and interpret system layouts to meet customer needs
• Ability to follow building blueprints and scope of work
• Ability to perform inspection to ensure system is working properly
• Ability to complete all documentation requirements in a timely manner including but not limited to clear handwriting, correct spelling, signatures and pictures as applicable, and submitting completed and accurate documentation on time
• Must track inventory and orders correctly
• Respond to requests from supervisors and clients in a timely manner
• Out of area travel may be required
• Must have reliable transportation, trucks are preferable, including vehicle insurance; employee will be reimbursed for gas expenses
• Successfully complete background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
