Position Overview

We are seeking experienced, licensed Oncologists to join our team as Independent Medical Evaluators for workers’ compensation cases. In this role, you will apply your oncology expertise to conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and provide objective, evidence-based reports — with no treatment responsibilities, prescribing, or ongoing patient management.

As an independent contractor, you retain complete control of your schedule. You may choose to perform evaluations on weekends or outside your primary clinical hours, allowing you to supplement your income with minimal disruption to your existing practice. With access to over 300 evaluation sites throughout California, you can select locations that are most convenient for you.

This is an ideal opportunity for Oncologists seeking flexible, high-value work that leverages their clinical expertise without the demands of traditional patient care.

Position Highlights:

  • Ultimate Flexibility As an independent contractor, you choose your own workload and schedule. Many of our physicians perform evaluations on weekends or days off to avoid conflicts with their primary practice. You also select where you work — with 300+ evaluation sites throughout California, convenience is built in.
  • Evaluation-Only Role (No Treatment Care) You will conduct focused med-legal evaluations related to oncology cases in workers’ compensation. There is no diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care. This allows you to leverage your oncology expertise strictly for assessment and reporting.
  • High Earning Potential Oncologists typically earn $1,000–$3,000 per hour, depending on evaluation volume and case complexity. This role provides an excellent opportunity to supplement income without the constraints of traditional clinical responsibilities.

Enjoy a rewarding position with unmatched flexibility, autonomy, and compensation — tailored to your lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and impartial medical evaluations for workers' compensation cases.

Requirements

  • Active California Medical License (required)
  • Board certification or eligibility in Oncology (Medical, Hematology/Oncology, or related subspecialty preferred)
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills

Schedule:

  • Fully flexible — choose your own hours and evaluation dates
  • Weekend or off-day availability is welcome but not required.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 per hour
