Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using EMR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse specialties such as emergency medicine, hospital medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and primary care.
- Administer injections, perform suturing, and execute procedures like venipuncture, catheterization, and airway management following aseptic techniques.
- Develop treatment plans involving medication administration, pain management strategies—including botulinum toxin treatments—and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases involving ICU ventilator management, trauma care at Level I/II trauma centers, and infectious disease protocols.
- Participate in clinical research studies and clinical trials to advance evidence-based practices; collect and analyze data for quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate medical records compliant with HIPAA regulations; document intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 coding (International Classification of Diseases), and ICD-9 when applicable.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care; triage patient concerns efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met.
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation and data management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience with hospital-based procedures including ventilator management, dialysis coordination, radiation therapy support, and spinal taps.
- Skilled in acute pain management techniques and injection administration; capable of performing suturing and phlebotomy with aseptic technique.
- Familiarity with CPT coding for procedures; ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for diagnoses; understanding of medical coding standards for billing purposes.
- Critical care experience including ICU or PICU settings; Level I/II trauma center exposure preferred.
- Ability to manage complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health issues, and home care scenarios.
- Competence in patient assessment skills such as intake evaluation, vital signs monitoring, airway management, and physical examinations.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols; experience with medical imaging interpretation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition or addiction counseling; capable of working within multidisciplinary teams in teaching hospital environments or outpatient clinics. Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
