We’re hiring a Segment Marketing Manager, Industrial Products to lead global marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, product interest, and sales in industrial manufacturing. This role will oversee demand generation, marketing communications, and programs such as trade events, content development, digital campaigns, and social media. You’ll collaborate with global and regional teams, partners, and vendors to deliver impactful results. POSITION
As Roland DG expands into new market segments with new technologies and partnerships, it’s critical that marketing strategies and activities be targeted to each unique audience, and led by a knowledgeable, connected team.

The Segment Marketing Manager, Industrial Products will oversee demand generation and marketing communications strategy, planning, and execution in order to grow Roland DG’s brand awareness, product interest and ultimately sales of select products within industrial manufacturing segments.

This position will be responsible for segment related marketing activities around the world by collaborating with the global marketing team, regional teams, and the industrial products team, as well as with partners and vendors as needed. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of industrial printing business opportunities, workflows and the competitive landscape within related product lines and applications. Marketing programs include but are not limited to trade events, content development, digital advertising, email communications, social media and more, produced with resources available in the global marketing organization and at agency vendors.

As new opportunities are identified, this position will oversee the planning and implementation of marketing programs, including goal setting, budget management, and results reporting and analysis. This individual must provide strategic thinking, organizational abilities, and a focus on results.

This position will be based out of a regional market, but stay connected daily/weekly with the industrial market team, global marketing team, plus ongoing collaboration with personnel in regions to ensure the work delivered meets global and regional needs. Occasional domestic and international travel will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize experience and findings, while working closely with Roland DG colleagues, to identify, plan and implement segment related marketing programs that will help to meet overall company goals.
  • Understand and share insights regarding the industrial print market within various regions, and provide thoughtful plans to drive Roland DG brand awareness, product demand and revenue growth.
  • Oversee execution of marketing activities, including but not limited to events, digital advertising, content development and communications.
  • Interface and collaborate with strategic partners, resellers and influential customers.
  • Track marketing activity results, including but not limited to lead generation and conversion, and share reporting and analysis with stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Support and Event team members, while contributing to a positive team culture that promotes a high level of performance.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • Set and meet specific, time-based, marketing and sales demand generation goals
  • Completion of monthly, quarterly and annual objectives as agreed upon with manager
  • Annual review by manager, including peer feedback

QUALIFICATIONS
Abilities:

  • Understanding of marketing best-practices, channels, technologies and platforms
  • Expert ability to plan, organize and execute projects on-time and on-budget
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems, and drive projects forward
  • Working knowledge of UV inkjet printing technology, applications and workflows
  • Expert ability with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Basic ability with graphic design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive energy and commitment to success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Team player, results oriented, professional and self-motivated

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience managing marketing programs for B2B technology
  • Experience with digital industrial printing a plus
  • Overseeing and executing marketing activity to produce desired results
  • Collaborating with internal team members and external vendors for production and delivery
  • Assessing creative output, particularly when working with external vendors
  • Interpreting data and utilizing tools for results reporting and analysis
  • Planning, project management and budget management

Education:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business or other related field

Salary Range: $101,000 - $121,000

Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and selling price; ratio and proportion and percentage.

Able to perform very simple algebra.

Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.

Ability to prepare business letters, proposals, summaries, and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.

Ability to conduct training, communicate at panel discussions and to make professional presentations.
