Bentley Homes is seeking a Selections & Design Coordinator to join our growing team!

The Selections & Design Coordinator plays a critical part in guiding clients through the personalization process while keeping projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with budget goals.

Position Overview
The Selections & Design Coordinator assists homebuyers in selecting interior and exterior finishes that personalize their home while supporting construction timelines, budget management, and quality execution. This role serves as a key communication hub between homeowners, vendors, sales, and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Design Coordination
· Guide homebuyers through all interior and exterior selections during Design Center appointments and home walkthroughs
· Provide professional guidance, product education, and expectation setting throughout the building process
· Prepare for all selection meetings, including organizing client files, materials, and presentation tools
· Provide ongoing communication and support to clients from contract through completion
Material Selections & Project Coordination
· Manage selection timelines, vendor meetings, and due dates to maintain construction schedules
· Coordinate flooring, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, finishes, and exterior materials
· Confirm exterior color selections to maintain community design standards and avoid duplication
· Collaborate closely with interior designers, trade partners, and project managers
· Stay current on residential design trends, materials, and building technologies
Cost Control & Documentation
· Prepare and review color selection sheets and change orders
· Verify pricing accuracy prior to submission for processing
· Coordinate pricing, subcontractor information, and ordering with clients
· Support budget management by making cost-conscious design recommendations
· Maintain accurate documentation including customer selections and revisions
Communication & Quality Assurance
· Relay accurate customer information to sales and constructions teams throughout the project
· Create selections and quality assurance punch lists to ensure client satisfaction
· Serve as a central communication resource between clients, vendors, and internal teams
· Assist with Design Center operations and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred)
OR
· A valid Real Estate License (preferred)
· Minimum of one year of related experience in residential construction, design coordination, or homebuilding
· General knowledge of residential construction and color coordination preferred
Skills & Abilities
· Strong customer-service mindset with a passion for client experience
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Design background with basic floorplan knowledge (preferred)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
