Selections and Design Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Selections & DesignCoordinator to join our team!

This essential role will assist homebuyers in selecting interior and exterior finishes that personalize their home. The Selections & Design Coordinator will guide clients through the personalization process while keeping our design studio up to date, organized and prepared for color sessions with our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Design Coordination – Pre-sale Clients

- Conduct client “visioning meeting” shortly after contract to learn about client’s style in preparation for the color session

- Prepare for color sessions, including samples, materials, and presentation tools

- Guide homebuyers through all interior and exterior selections during color sessions

- Provide sketches/diagrams as necessary with color session options

- Guide clients through any necessary reselections

Design Selections – Inventory Homes

- Conduct visioning meeting with Project Manager and Company President to define direction for design style

- Prepare and present color session package based on approved visioning meeting

- Provide sketches/diagrams as necessary with color session options

- Assist Project Managers with questions, clarifications, etc. during pre-start and construction

General

- Organize and maintain design studio samples

- Coordinate updated samples with manufacturer reps

- Stay current on residential design trends, materials, and building technologies

Qualifications

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred)

· Experience in residential construction design/selections coordination

· General knowledge of residential construction preferred

Skills & Abilities

· Strong customer-service mindset with a passion for client experience

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Design background with basic floorplan knowledge

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Design software experience such as Revit, Bluebeam, etc. is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour
