Self-Employed Delivery Driver - Melksham

Mon–Fri | £110–£140+ per day

We're looking for a reliable self-employed driver to run a daily multi-drop route out of our Melksham depot. Van, fuel and insurance are all provided - you turn up, run the route, go home.

The route

- Route ready for collection from 8am at our Melksham depot

- Typical finish 5–6pm, straight home (no return to depot required)

- 40–50 drops per day

- Approx. 150-mile round trip

- Monday to Friday route availability

Pay

- £2.80 per drop

- Realistic daily earnings: £112–£140 (£560–£700 per week)

- Paid weekly

- Self-employed — you'll need to be registered as self-employed with HMRC (or willing to register before starting)

We provide at no cost: van, fuel, insurance, sack truck/trolley for heavier items

The work - please read carefully

This is a physically demanding route. You'll be loading, unloading and carrying parcels to customers' doorsteps throughout the day. Items can weigh up to 50kg; a trolley is provided and heavier items can be handled as two-person lifts where needed. Deliveries are doorstep only - no installation, no carrying into rooms, no assembly.

You'll need

- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months, no more than 6 points, no DR/IN/TT endorsements)

- Right to work in the UK

- Age 21+

- Valid DBS issued within last 6 months

- Smartphone

- Good customer manner - you're the face of the delivery to our customers

- Reliability - this is a daily route and consistency matters

Within 7 days for the right candidate.

Substitution

As a self-employed contractor, you may send a suitably qualified substitute driver to run the route on any given day, provided they meet our standard vetting requirements (licence check, right to work, insurance eligibility) and are approved by Chyone Logistics in advance.
