Self Employed Welder/Fabricator

Situated in the heart of the Medway City Estate, Rochester, Kent, Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd is a privately owned engineering firm looking for a Welder/Fabricator to assist in our daily production.

Founded in 1995, the company occupies 14,000 sq ft, specialising in one-off bespoke projects, prototyping, architectural metalwork and batch manufacturing.

Twenty Four Hour Engineering Ltd, work with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Steel, Plastics and Non-ferrous metals and are very proud to be certified in respect to EN-1090 for the execution of both Steel & Aluminium structures.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ fabrication experience carrying out MIG & TIG welding working with Steel, Aluminium and Stainless.

Be enthusiastic, dedicated and proactive within the department to ensure department efficiency. Willingness to learn new skills and progress.

Title: Self employed Welder/Fabricator

Duties:

· Working with the Production Manager.

· Tig & Mig welding, cutting and drilling

· Ensuring quality control in the jobs issued to you.

· Working to customer drawings and specifications

· Keeping the workshop clean and tidy

· Use of general workshop machinery such as, guillotine, saws, welding sets.

· Take on reasonable additional or different duties when asked to meet our reasonable business needs

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7am until 3:30pm

Salary:

£21.00 per hour (Paid Monthly on or by 28th of each month)

You will be responsible for the completion of your own tax returns and paying taxes directly to HMRC.
