Semi-Conductor IoT Application Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Understand the IoT product application scenarios, relevant standards
• Define, setup and validate IoT product application based on system requirement to the performance requirement of the applications
• Power measurement of IoT product under the different power state for the applications
• Support the customer regarding the IoT product design
• Failure analysis of the IoT product. Worked closely with system, design, validation and test team to resolve the MP failure issue
• Document application scenarios, test results, and failure analysis reports
• Provide technical feedback to system, architecture, MP regarding the product improvement for the next product

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical engineering or computer science
• Proven ability to thrive in a small, agile engineering team, taking initiative, prioritizing tasks and handle evolving technical challenges, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability on delivery.
• Min 5 years of experience in IoT application or development
• Strong understanding in HW, chip hardware and system design.
• Good understanding of different IoT application, SOC architectures, hardware/software/firmware, low level API driver and HAL as well as real time OS, communication protocol and standard
• Prior experience of IoT application will be a major plus
• Prior experience with WiFi, BT, USB, and Video ,security solutions, secure boot would be a major plus
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation of test with equipment measurement tasks
• Experience with embedded system debugging tools such as JTAG, logic analysers, and oscilloscopes
• Prior experience with power measurement for the IoT product would be a major plus
• Familiarity with interface peripherals, such as Ethernet/I2S/ SPI/ I2C /PWM/ADC/PDM would be a plus
• Good communication and documentation skill, with proven experience of collaboration with internal teams and external partners
