Senior 3D Animator

We are seeking a talented 3D Animator with 2-5 years of experience who specializes in creating clear, compelling, and high-quality explainer videos. The ideal candidate is a skilled 3D generalist who can translate complex technical, product, or business concepts into simple and engaging animations.

You will be a key member of our creative team, working from concept and storyboard to final render. If you have a passion for visual problem-solving and a portfolio that shows you can make the complex look simple, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scriptwriters, instructional designers, and marketing teams to understand project goals and translate scripts into visual storyboards.
• Manage the full 3D production pipeline: modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation, and rendering.
• Create and animate a variety of 3D assets, including products, characters, and abstract representations of data or processes.
• Design and animate 3D scenes that are clean, professional, and consistent with our brand's visual identity.
• Focus on clarity and communication, ensuring the final animation effectively "explains" the core message to the target audience.
• Integrate 2D motion graphics, typography, and visual effects into 3D scenes using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
• Perform post-production tasks, including compositing, editing, and adding music, voice-overs, and sound effects.
• Manage multiple projects at once, adhering to deadlines and providing proactive updates on project status.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 3D animation and motion graphics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience as a 3D Animator or 3D Generalist.
• Portfolio: A strong online portfolio/demo reel is required. Your portfolio must include examples of explainer videos, product visualizations, or educational content that you have produced.
• 3D Software: Proficiency in one or more industry-standard 3D software packages (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max).
• Adobe Suite: High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects (for compositing and motion graphics) and Premiere Pro (for editing).
• Core Skills: A strong grasp of animation principles (timing, weight, spacing), as well as composition, lighting, and texturing.
• Communication: A proven ability to simplify complex topics and tell a clear, visual story.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with render engines like Redshift, Octane, or V-Ray.
• Basic character rigging skills.
• Strong 2D motion graphics and illustration skills.
• Experience with basic scriptwriting or storyboarding
