More about the role:

As a Senior Account Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts, demonstrating strong writing skills, proactivity, autonomy, and a commitment to exceptional client service.

This role requires a confident communicator with strong media relations experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to think strategically while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Arabic language skills are highly advantageous.

What you'll do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering high-quality client service and day-to-day account management.
  • Create and edit high-quality content including press releases, media Q&As, briefing documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships, pitch stories, and identify relevant news hooks aligned with client KPIs.
  • Support media monitoring, monthly and quarterly reporting, and provide analysis and insights on coverage performance.
  • Prepare weekly status reports and provide basic-level client counsel and strategic support.
  • Collaborate with senior team members on account administration, budget awareness, and account profitability.
  • Contribute to new business research, ideas, and development of pitch decks.
  • Stay informed on AI tools and best practices, applying them responsibly in line with WPP guidelines.

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Proven experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations, supporting client accounts and campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English across multiple formats; Arabic reading and conversation required, strong Arabic writing a bonus.
  • Existing media contacts and demonstrated experience pitching to journalists.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in monitoring, reporting, and performance evaluation.
  • Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, ambitious team player with the ability to work autonomously and lead by example.
