Senior Account Executive - Technology / SaaS

As a Senior Account Executive you'll manage the full sales cycle for inbound leads originating from the GCC market, as well as converting qualified partner-sourced opportunities. This role requires strong consultative selling, structured opportunity qualification, and the ability to turn ambiguous client needs into clear, actionable proposals.


As a high-performance individual contributor you'll execute sales process reliably, consistently, and with strong commercial judgement. You'll demonstrate your expertise in the “how” of selling - high-quality discovery, proposal development, deal navigation, and pipeline management—while supporting strategic partner relationships to generate incremental demand.



Key Responsibilities:


Inbound Pipeline Ownership

  • Own the full sales cycle for inbound GCC leads, from first contact to close.
  • Conduct rapid screening and qualification to determine fit, urgency, and commercial potential.
  • Convert initial interest into structured, sales-ready opportunities.


Partnership Management

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing partners to generate co-selling and co-sourcing opportunities.
  • Coordinate pipeline reviews, referral workflows, and joint sales motions.


Opportunity Qualification & Discovery


  • Run high-quality, consultative discovery calls to understand underlying business challenges, technical landscape, budget, decision criteria, and timelines.
  • Rigorously qualify all opportunities against AppliedAI’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and strategic priorities.
  • Prioritise time and resources toward the highest-probability, highest-value opportunities.


Proposal Development & Deal Structuring


  • Translate ambiguous or early-stage client needs into clear project scopes, proposals, pricing structures, and commercial plans.
  • Work cross-functionally with Solution, Delivery, and Product to validate assumptions, align expectations, and refine proposals.


Sales Process Management & Handover

  • Maintain accurate opportunity information in CRM, including scope, timelines, stakeholders, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure clean, complete, and high-quality handovers to Delivery/Project Management teams post-close.
  • Monitor early project progress to ensure alignment with the sold scope and prevent scope drift.


Forecasting & Reporting


  • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, win probabilities, and close dates.
  • Prepare weekly forecasts and contribute to revenue planning conversations.



Experience:


Required:


  • 4–7 years of successful B2B Account Executive experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, automation, or technology.
  • Strong consultative selling abilities with experience leading full sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify prospects thoroughly and navigate complex decision-making environments.
  • Experience converting ambiguous client inputs into structured proposals or scopes of work.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple pipeline streams (inbound + partnerships) simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial intuition: pricing, negotiation, value framing, and stakeholder management.


Preferred:

  • Experience selling enterprise or mid-market technology solutions.
  • Exposure to long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder deals, or technical scoping.
  • Experience working with channel or strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems(e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)and structured sales methodologies(MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger).
