Senior Account Manager

We are seeking a seasoned, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Account Manager for our Maintenance Division. In this role, you will manage key customer accounts, ensure a smooth transition from installation to maintenance, and promote landscape upgrade services. You’ll also play a key role in setting the standard for excellence across the account management team by offering support and guidance to less experienced account managers and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

Your strong leadership presence, polished professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction will help maintain our reputation for excellence with Austin’s high-end residential clientele.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts from the completion of landscape construction to the start of property maintenance.
  • Lead and assist in landscape enhancements and upgrades, including preparing proposals and presentations.
  • Support the professional growth of junior account managers by sharing best practices, offering guidance, and helping troubleshoot complex situations.
  • Maintain a professional and polished demeanor when interacting with high-end clientele.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively address any issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple high-value accounts.
  • Utilize your strong Excel skills and adaptability to learn new software quickly.
  • Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive client information.
  • Assist with client communication and coordination with the maintenance operations team.
  • Track contracts and manage billing processes.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, preferably within the landscape or service industry.
  • A strong track record of maintaining high-end client relationships and managing multiple accounts successfully.
  • Confidence in offering support and guidance to peers and junior team members.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Exceptional professionalism and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort learning new platforms; experience with Aspire is a plus.
  • A current driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Bilingual abilities are helpful but not required.
