As Senior Account Manager, you'll serve as the strategic partner and primary point of contact for a portfolio of mission-driven client accounts—leading relationships, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional project outcomes. This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and relationship-building: someone who can juggle multiple accounts, lead with both empathy and rigor, and champion exceptional work that moves missions forward.
You'll own the strategic relationship direction and health of your accounts, partnering closely with Project Managers who handle day-to-day delivery coordination. Reporting to the Senior Director of Client Services, you'll shape how Wide Eye delivers value to the organizations we serve—building trust, driving clarity, and creating outcomes that matter.
To set you up for success, you'll have the support of our Senior Director of Client Services, collaborative agency leadership, and talented cross-functional teams, including Creative Directors, Interactive Strategists, designers, engineers, and Project Managers.
As the strategic owner and primary client contact for your portfolio, you'll be responsible for:

Build and maintain trusted, one-on-one relationships with client stakeholders at all levels—from day-to-day contacts to executive leadership—serving as a strategic advisor who understands their goals, challenges, and organizational context

Lead regular strategic check-ins to gather feedback, address challenges, and guide overall strategy direction, ensuring projects stay aligned and successful

Translate client needs and organizational objectives into clear project requirements, creative briefs, and strategic recommendations that set teams up for strong execution

Communicate Wide Eye’s point of view with confidence, navigating difficult conversations thoughtfully, pushing clients toward stronger outcomes, and earning buy-in on our expertise

Partner closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless, on-time, on-budget delivery—you own account strategy and relationships; PMs own execution and coordination

Navigate multi-stakeholder dynamics to drive consensus, resolve interpersonal challenges, unblock decisions, and keep work moving forward

Proactively identify client risks, challenges, and opportunities—bringing Wide Eye’s full capabilities forward in creative, strategic ways that support client impact and agency growth

Grow existing accounts through expanded services, deeper partnerships, and timely opportunities for new or adjacent work

Negotiate contracts, extensions, amendments, and scope changes

Provide strategic guidance and constructive feedback to peers and project teams, ensuring decisions stay aligned with client goals and context

Measure and communicate project impact through success metrics, qualitative insights, and strategic analysis

Ensure client partnerships align with Wide Eye’s values, deliver measurable value, advance client missions, and support long-term relationship growth

Contribute to strengthening Wide Eye’s client services best practices, tools, and processes, bringing forward ideas that improve how we scope, plan, collaborate, and deliver work

5+ years of experience in account management, client services, or strategy roles, with at least 3 years as an account manager at a digital or creative agency account.

Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and delivering multi-faceted digital or creative projects.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and strategic oversight.

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills—able to translate client challenges into creative, actionable solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Experience working with modern digital agency technologies including Content Management Systems (CMSs), CRMs, and digital analytics tools.

Understanding of digital/creative agency business models—how agencies operate, what drives success, and how to balance client needs with agency sustainability.

Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create clarity in complex, evolving situations.

Ability to navigate complex organizational relationships while driving results and maintaining momentum.

Experience working with nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, campaigns, or social impact organizations.

Understanding of the unique challenges mission-driven organizations face—limited resources, multi-stakeholder decision-making, mission-first priorities.

Experience with project budgets, financial forecasting, and understanding account-level profitability.

History of growing accounts through strategic upselling and identifying expansion opportunities.

Background in or understanding of brand strategy, digital campaigns, website development, or content strategy.

Background in customer service or other high-volume client-facing roles a plus, especially where you’ve balanced empathy with clear boundaries

Salary range: $100K-$115K
