Senior Account Manager (6 Months Contract)

Cairo, Egypt

Main Duties:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to the client.
  • Handle and supervise clients social media assets while implementing client’s overall marketing strategy.
  • Providing clients with consulting services entailing gathering requirements, analysing, understanding clients’ business and generating new ideas to enhance brand’s performance.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through weekly meetings.
  • Work closely with all the internal teams in UAE, EGY & KSA to ensure planning, scheduling and tracking project timings, deliverable's and milestones according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Developing and delivering progress and end-of-campaign reports, proposals and presentations. Also analyzing results, troubleshooting problem areas, and offering recommendations.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Actively lead and/or participate in activities such as regular update meetings, quarterly reviews and ongoing communication with clients
  • Responsible for supporting all new business initiatives by actively participating in the overall pitching process, including research, audits, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and contributing across all key stages of proposal development.



External Management:

  • Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements;
  • Up-selling digital products and services to your clients
  • Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget;
  • Presenting, alongside agency colleagues the campaign ideas and strategy to the client;
  • Briefing media, social media and creative staff, and assisting with the formulation of digital marketing strategies
  • Liaising with, and acting as the link between, the client and the agency by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively
  • Negotiating with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns
  • Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and quoting clients
  • Writing client reports
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Handling ‘pitches’, along with other agency staff, to try to win new business for the agency


Internal management:

  • Ensuring the appropriate resources are in place and that the work is conducted in timely fashion, within approved scope and budget
  • Driving the execution of the project across the Creative, and SM teams
  • Responsible for the consistent successful facilitation of a project from estimation through launch and maintenance


Skills & Experience

  • 6-8 years of Advertising Account/Client Management experience
  • Strong presentation / communication skills
  • Able to manage clients (external and internal) on project scope and delivery
  • Strong client handling / client relations experience
  • Experience in the advertising campaign lifecycle from creative concept to execution
  • Strong background with project management concepts, methodologies and tools
