Senior Account Manager - Consumer PR

Overview

The Burson Consumer team provides exposure to globally recognised clients and campaigns focused on performance and purpose, with a diverse and supportive environment.

What You'll Do
  • Leading teams and client remits
  • Managing a busy campaign, project management, and press offices; handling reactive and proactive media enquiries as needed
  • Strategic client advisory and planning
  • Maintaining relationships and building media/influencer contacts to drive client coverage
  • Reviewing and developing content
  • Creative ideation in response to client briefs
  • Managing retainers and projects from conception to completion, anticipating challenges and meeting deadlines
Experience That Contributes To Success
  • A passion for understanding consumers, culture, and what shapes demand
  • Strong experience working on consumer brands across corporate and consumer campaigns
  • Passionate about compelling content and working with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders to deliver key content and messages
  • A confident client handler with the ability to share counsel
  • Ability to drive an account team, encouraging and supporting them on their journey
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with client objectives and market trends
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, retainers, and identifying opportunities for account growth
  • Familiarity with PR measurement tools and a data-driven approach to demonstrating campaign performance and ROI
