Senior Account Manager, English Content

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to provide strategic counsel on communications and media strategy, with a strong emphasis on content, messaging, and positioning. This is a six-month project-based role requiring exceptional writing and advisory skills. The candidate will be responsible for guiding clients on content strategies-such as thought leadership initiatives-and contributing to broader communication activities, including speechwriting, media relations, and media briefings. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self starter capable of working closely with clients to create and execute communications campaigns. They must be able to lead small teams. A good media contacts book and experience in fintech, FMCG and healthcare sectors are a plus.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Advise clients on positioning strategies.
• Develop compelling messaging and narratives.
• Write and edit a wide range of materials, including press releases, media invites, Q&As, speeches, op-ed, and features.
• Work alongside executives, ministers, and other senior figures to boost executive profiles.
• Create comprehensive media plans and communication campaigns.
• Assess media opportunities, including interviews, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of innovative concepts and services for both clients and the organization.
• Lead content activities at high paced events.
• Contribute to growing accounts.

Ad Hoc Assignments

• Perform other duties as requested by the Direct Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in literature, journalism, or communications.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, corporate role, diplomatic post, or media organization.
• Fluent in English.
• Proven ability to produce error free, media ready content.
• Strong understanding of local, regional, and global current affairs, with sensitivity to geopolitical contexts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Candidate must be based in Dubai.
