The Senior Accountant will oversee the day to day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and supporting management in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
  • Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and ensure all records are accurate and up to date
  • Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance with FTA requirements
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
  • Support audits (internal and external) and ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies
  • Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors, landlords, and other stakeholders
  • Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy of their work
  • Assist in cash flow management and financial planning for management review
  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA preferred)
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of UAE accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, accounting standards, and financial reporting
  • Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
