Accountant (Oman Centre)

Job Description:
A reputed company in Oman is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in contracting, building automation, and trading sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all accounting functions up to finalization and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage VAT filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in contracting, building automation, or trading.
• Strong knowledge of VAT and financial finalization processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
