Senior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage financial records, ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting for our retail business. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, taxation, and inventory-based accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial ledgers, vouchers, and day-to-day transactions

Prepare monthly P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

Manage accounts receivable/payable and vendor settlements

Perform bank, cash, and expense reconciliations

Handle payroll processing and staff payments

Monitor stock & inventory reports with store team coordination

Ensure compliance with taxation, withholding, and regulatory requirements

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis

Maintain documentation for audits and financial records

Implement internal controls and financial discipline

Requirements

3–5 years experience in accounting

Strong command over MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/Tally preferred)

Knowledge of taxation and financial reporting standards

Strong analytical and documentation skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (ACCA/ICMA a plus)
