Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in accounts finalization, GST and TDS preparation, and overall senior-level accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing the full spectrum of accounting functions and coordinating with our Chartered Accountant for statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Finalization & General Accounting

• Handle complete accounts finalization including preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, Notes).
• Review and reconcile ledgers, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure timely closing of books.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

2. GST & TDS

• Prepare GST working data, monthly/quarterly reconciliations, and documentation required for filing.
• Prepare TDS working, challans, and verification reports prior to submission.
• Liaise with the external CA for GST and TDS filings and ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
• Stay updated with changes in GST/TDS rules and ensure compliance.

3. Vendor, Customer & Bank Management

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform vendor/customer reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow.

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain proper documentation for audits, statutory requirements, and financial reviews.
• Assist during internal and external audits and ensure all compliance requirements are met.

5. Senior-Level Accounting Operations

• Supervise junior accounting staff if required.
• Support management with financial analysis, MIS reports, and budget-related data.
• Coordinate closely with the Director for strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in senior accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Finalization, GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting Standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
