Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, manage accounting records, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting within the manufacturing sector, including costing, GST, TDS, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.

· Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal vouchers.

· Handle accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.

· Ensure timely bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.

· Coordinate with the production team for material costing and consumption reports.

· Maintain accurate inventory valuation as per accounting standards.

· Manage all GST, TDS, and income tax-related activities.

· Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory reports.

· Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities for compliance and audits.

· Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.

· Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management analysis reports.

· Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

· Supervise and guide the accounting team.

· Review team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or higher; CA / Inter CA / M.Com preferred.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.

· Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software.

· Sound understanding of GST, TDS, Costing, and Financial Reporting.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month CTC
