About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support overall financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting standards, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Oversee payroll accounting and ensure timely employee payments.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Support management with financial insights and reporting for decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Review and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reports).
- In-depth understanding of accounting standards and financial principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing audits and compliance.
- Exposure to financial modeling and MIS reporting.
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage.
