Accountant – Banking & Guarantees (Tally Expert)

About Us
Oiltek Trading SP LLC is a rapidly expanding oil & gas supply chain company that supplies valves, fittings, cables, engineered packages, and industrial equipment to ADNOC and major EPC/EPCM contractors. We are seeking an experienced Accountant with expertise in banking operations, specifically bank guarantees, PBGs, ABGs, and other related financial instruments, to manage and oversee our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Banking & Guarantees Management
- Primary responsibility: Oversee and coordinate bank guarantees (BGs), performance bank guarantees (PBGs), and advance bank guarantees (ABGs) for project financing and execution.
- Prepare, submit, track, and ensure the proper execution of BGs, PBGs, and ABGs in line with project requirements and contracts.
- Liaise with banks for TR / LG / PBG documentation and ensure timely issuance and amendments of guarantees.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), trade financing instruments, and associated documentation for international and domestic transactions.
- Track expiry dates, limits, and renewals of guarantees and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of all guarantees, LCs, and financial instruments with banks.
Accounting Operations (Tally ERP)
- Manage all accounting entries in Tally ERP, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), ledgers, and journals.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and track LPOs, POs, delivery notes, and project billing.
- Enter supplier invoices, match with POs and GRNs, and ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank accounts, and ensure the integrity of the company’s financial records.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
VAT Compliance & Documentation
- Manage UAE VAT computation, filing, and documentation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper financial records to support audits and regulatory checks.
Operational Support & Project Documentation
- Handle petty cash, staff expenses, and ensure timely supplier payments.
- Maintain accurate records for ADNOC vendor registrations and project documentation related to financial transactions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP and working knowledge of bank guarantees (BGs), performance bank guarantees (PBGs), and advance bank guarantees (ABGs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within the trading, contracting, or oil & gas sectors.
- Expertise in managing banking documentation and financial instruments, including bank guarantees, LCs, TR/LG processes.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT, accounting standards, and local financial regulations.
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
