Full job description

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

Manage end-to-end accounting activities including GL entries, reconciliations, and adjustments

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Supervise accounts payable, ensuring timely vendor payments and compliance with terms

Conduct bank reconciliations, handle petty cash, and oversee expense management

Maintain cost control across projects and track profitability per job/site

Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure full tax compliance

Support budget planning, forecasting, and variance analysis

Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion and financial accuracy

Manage WPS payroll reporting and intercompany entries if applicable

Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules

Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records

Prepare Weekly & Monthly Profit share Reports for Holiday Homes

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven track record of handling high-volume receivables and complex collection cycles

Proficient in accounting software Zoho,

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Familiar with project accounting, cost control, and site operations

Experience with UAE VAT and knowledge of corporate tax (if applicable)
