We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our financial operations, from our head office at Gulghast, Multan and across our chain of outlets. This role requires a blend of experience in the FMCG sector and leadership to optimize the company's financial growth.

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring precise reporting, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior management to streamline accounting procedures, optimize cash flow, and identify cost-saving opportunities to support the bakeshop's strategic expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate cashflow statements on periodic basis.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. Work closely with our three branches for managing all matters related to cashflow, daily account closing, and POS system.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory control systems, purchase management, and analyze financial data to detect trends and areas for operational efficiency.
  • Utility & Rental Payments Management on monthly basis
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure timely tax compliance (including GST/TDS where applicable) and coordinate with internal and external auditors for annual audits.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily bank reconciliations and cash flow to ensure ongoing financial stability.
  • Payroll Management: Processing the monthly payroll by using the attendance data.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff and cashiers to maintain accuracy and effectiveness in all tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CA/ACCA certification highly preferred).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within the FMCG industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Mandatory expertise in accounting software such as Pharesol, QuickBooks or Xero, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
