Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant (CA Qualified) to independently manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The candidate will be responsible for GST, TDS, Income Tax, ITR filings, P&L, Balance Sheet finalization, audits, and team management, ensuring statutory compliance and financial accuracy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Handle complete books of accounts independently.
- Prepare and finalize Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting standards.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST compliance, including:
- GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C)
- GST reconciliation and notices
- Handle TDS compliance:
- TDS calculation, deduction, and filing of returns
- TDS reconciliation and issuance of Form 16/16A
- Manage Income Tax compliances, including:
- ITR filing for company, firm, or individual entities
- Handling tax assessments, notices, and scrutiny cases
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
3. Audit & Compliance Management
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and explanations.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance gaps.
4. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare MIS reports for management review.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for cost control and profitability improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
5. Team Management & Coordination
- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely deliverables.
- Provide guidance, training, and process improvements within the team.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
6. Process Improvement & Compliance Control
- Improve accounting and reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act, and other applicable laws.
- Implement best practices in accounting and documentation.
Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills
- Strong expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
- Excellent knowledge of finalization of accounts
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools
