HIRING: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

A client of Ortak Consultants (Pvt.) Limited is hiring a Senior Accountant based in Karachi.

Location: Karachi

Industry: Manufacturing

Requirements:

* Candidate must be part-qualified ACCA / CA / CMA.

* 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

* Managing day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.

* Handling accounts payable and receivable functions.

* Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.

* Managing taxation matters including sales tax, withholding tax and income tax support.

* Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits.

* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
