Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our trading business. The role involves handling books of accounts, GST compliance, inventory accounting, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain complete books of accounts including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

Record and reconcile bank transactions and prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)

Handle GST compliance:

· Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

· Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, follow up on outstanding dues

· Track and account for inventory / stock movements and reconcile with books

· Prepare monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and expense analysis

· Assist in TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and returns

· Support statutory audits, internal audits, and coordination with CA/consultants

· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards

· Maintain proper documentation and filing of vouchers and invoices

Skills & Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading / FMCG / retail industry

· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax provisions

· Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally / ERP / Zoho Books or similar)

· Good understanding of inventory accounting

· Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Preferred Attributes:

· Experience in multi-location or distributor-based trading businesses

· Exposure to organic / FMCG product trading will be an added advantage

· Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
