Job Overview

Taqath Corporate Services Providers is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in UAE accounting practices, VAT & Tax compliance, and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, along with a solid academic background.

This role is suitable for professionals who are detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and capable of handling multiple client accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients in the UAE
• Handle VAT registration, filing, reconciliation, and compliance as per UAE FTA regulations
• Manage Corporate Tax computations, filings, and advisory support
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) functions including vendor reconciliations and payment processing
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger reviews, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
• Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5–8 years of proven accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax laws
• Hands-on experience in AP, GL, and reporting functions
• Experience working with accounting software (Manager.io experience is an advantage)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines efficiently

Preferred Skills

• Experience in accounting firms or corporate services providers
• Familiarity with FTA portals and compliance procedures
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
