Senior Accountant

<Duties>

• Manage and oversee general ledger accounting activities, including account reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Lead regulatory reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with governmental and non-profit accounting standards.
• Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform cash management duties, including forecasting cash flow needs and monitoring banking transactions.
• Support internal controls related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance and assist with audit preparations.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to enhance financial management efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting activities to support organizational planning.
• Collaborate on technical accounting issues related to payroll, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and other specialized areas.

<Qualifications>

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar tools.
• Expertise in account reconciliation, balance sheet management, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger processes.
• Familiarity with non-profit and governmental accounting standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent financial acumen combined with strong analytical skills for detailed account analysis and forecasting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
