Senior Accountant

Manage the company’s financial records, reporting, and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate must have experience in contracting, construction, or maintenance companies and be capable of handling the full accounting cycle independently.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting management decisions, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process payroll and WPS / SIF salary files
• Maintain expense tracking and cost allocation per project
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries
• Coordinate with external auditors and VAT consultants
• Prepare and submit VAT filings in compliance with UAE regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Monitor cash flow and company expenses
• Maintain documentation for MOHRE, payroll, and employee settlements
• Assist management in budget planning and financial analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in UAE accounting
• Experience in construction / interior fit-out / contracting industry preferred
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial reporting
• Experience preparing SIF payroll files
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in SME contracting companies
• Knowledge of project cost control and BOQ cost tracking
• Familiarity with UAE labor law related to payroll and end-of-service benefits
