Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in our finance and accounting operations. This position will work closely with executive leadership, reporting to the C.F.O., and will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial processes and reporting.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will lead core accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis. This individual will also support process improvements and help scale accounting operations as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Record and maintain General Ledger journal entries
• Analyze financial data and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and manage depreciation tracking
• Oversee and support commission accounting process
• Maintain and reconcile monthly inventory
• Supervise and mentor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) team members
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies within accounting workflows
• Assist with audits, reporting, and other financial projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience with cost accounting principals
• Experience with commissions and/or royalties accounting principals
• Proficiency in accounting and business tools such as: NetSuite, QuickBooks (Enterprise/Desktop), Excel/Google Sheets, and MacOS environment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
