Senior Accountant

Art Nouveau Decor is strengthening it's finance leadership and is looking for a Senior Accountant who combines financial discipline, IFRS expertise and data driven thinking.

Roles and responsibilities: -

Financial Reporting & IFRS Compliance

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Ensure accurate consolidation of accounts across all business units and project cost centers.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensure proper chart of accounts structure, and oversee period-end closing activities.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process end-to-end.

Project Costing & Profitability Analysis

• Track project-level revenues, costs, and margins for fit-out and retail display projects.
• Develop and maintain job costing models to monitor profitability at each project stage.
• Identify cost overruns, variances, and inefficiencies; provide actionable insights to project and operations teams.
• Work closely with project managers to support accurate revenue recognition per contract milestones.

Financial Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Support

• Build financial dashboards and performance reports using tools such as Excel, or equivalent platforms.
• Conduct trend analysis, KPI monitoring, and scenario modelling to support management decision-making.
• Present financial insights and findings to senior leadership in a clear, concise format.
• Support business scaling by identifying financial patterns and growth opportunities across regional operations.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
• Prepare rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and working capital analysis.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and report on deviations with corrective recommendations.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

• Oversee AP and AR cycles, including invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage vendor and client account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Improve collections efficiency and reduce DSO through structured follow-up processes.

Tax, Regulatory & Internal Controls

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax obligations, and free zone reporting requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and address audit findings promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
