PryorHealth is a fast-growing national aesthetics platform offering plastic surgery and med-spa services across the country. We’re looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This person will be responsible for payroll processing, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, cost accounting, financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and financial reporting in a fast paced and dynamic multi-unit enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance + 3 years of progressive accounting experience OR 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience in lieu of a degree; CPA preferred.
- Prior experience in a service-related industry or in public accounting.
- Prior experience in a plastic surgery practice and/or med spa practice setting, or related healthcare setting is a plus
- Proficiency in GAAP accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel/MS Office and similar programs
- Experience with audits and financial close activities
- Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
- Skilled in identifying and defining problems, collecting data, and interpreting financial material
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with changing circumstances, priorities, and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and time management skills
- Must be an innovative, creative thinker who is well organized and self-motivated
- Must demonstrate friendly, professional, and business-like demeanor that instills trust and confidence with patients and peers
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs regular accounting duties, including: payroll processing, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling sales and receivables, monthly sales tax returns, creating and analyzing budgets, and performing variance analysis and reporting.
- Supports Head of HR with regular payroll processing tasks, including: setup and management of tax withholdings per state and local laws, earning setup, deductions, benefits premium reconciliation, and collaborative payroll submission.
- Manages core expense categories (e.g., occupancy, health insurance) including preparing budgets, making vendor payments, and reconciling expenses across business units
- Works collaboratively with departments as a resource for budget development, including maintaining and updating all budgets necessary for respective departments.
- Uses statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports.
- Interprets data and makes recommendations concerning financial trends, economic, business forecasts, and financial performance.
- Works collaboratively with department managers, and corporate departments in consolidating financial information.
- Attends meetings and participates in committees as required.
- Supports annual audits, lender reporting, and medical provider compensation reporting
- If obstacles to job duties/performance arise, must be able to recommend and initiate steps towards problem resolution
- Assists other team members when necessary
- All other duties as assigned
- Occasional overtime

Salary $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year + Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and PTO
