Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple clients.
  • Review and post sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payments, journals, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
  • Perform bank, customer, supplier, intercompany, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate chart of accounts, cost centers, and accounting classifications.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all accounting transactions.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial statements, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and supporting schedules.
  • Prepare MIS reports, ageing reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards.
  • Assist management in preparing client-level financial insights and recommendations.
  • Support year-end closing and external audit requirements.

UAE VAT & Corporate Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and review UAE VAT returns.
  • Reconcile VAT input, output, exempt, zero-rated, and reverse charge transactions.
  • Assist in corporate tax data preparation, expense classification, and tax schedules.
  • Ensure client records comply with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and bookkeeping requirements.
  • Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and clients for compliance matters.

Zoho Books & Odoo Expertise

  • Record, review, and reconcile transactions in Zoho Books and Odoo.
  • Configure basic accounting settings, taxes, chart of accounts, products, customers, vendors, and bank feeds.
  • Identify system posting errors, reconciliation issues, and reporting mismatches.
  • Support clients in improving accounting workflows within Zoho and Odoo.
  • Assist in migration, cleanup, and implementation support where required.

Client Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Follow up with clients for missing documents, approvals, payments, and clarifications.
  • Provide professional responses to client accounting and compliance queries.
  • Maintain service quality, deadlines, and client satisfaction.
  • Escalate complex matters to senior management on a timely basis.

Team Coordination

  • Supervise junior accountants and review their work.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor deadlines, and ensure quality control.
  • Train junior team members on accounting processes, documentation standards, Zoho, and Odoo.
  • Support internal process improvement and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA Inter, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in an outsourced accounting, audit, tax, or consultancy firm.
  • Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Odoo is mandatory.
  • Experience handling multiple clients or multiple entities is strongly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Zoho Books and Odoo Accounting.
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT, corporate tax basics, and compliance documentation.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, reconciliations, and reporting templates.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client assignments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in accounting for trading, services, real estate, contracting, hospitality, or e-commerce businesses.
  • Experience in ERP implementation, migration, or accounting system cleanup.
  • Knowledge of payroll, WPS, inventory accounting, landed cost, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Prior experience in UAE-based accounting firms or outsourced finance departments.

Key Performance Expectations

The successful candidate should be able to:

  • Independently manage assigned client accounts.
  • Close monthly accounts within agreed deadlines.
  • Prepare accurate VAT and management reports.
  • Resolve Zoho and Odoo accounting issues.
  • Maintain clean reconciliations and proper supporting documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Support the firm in delivering reliable, scalable, and compliance-focused accounting services.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
