The Accounting Manager will work ensure accurate financial reporting, strong cost controls, and timely insight into project performance.
Job Title: Accounting Manager
We are a family of companies operating across multiple manufacturing and utilities sectors, seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting across the organization.
The Accounting Manager will work closely with company leadership, operations, and accounting team members to manage core accounting functions, strengthen internal processes, and provide clear financial insight to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and account analyses.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Maintain and improve accounting processes, policies, and internal controls.
Partner with leadership and operations teams to provide financial reporting and analysis.
Assist with cash management, expense tracking, and cost reporting.
Coordinate audit support, tax documentation, and other compliance-related activities.
Supervise, train, and support accounting team members as needed.
Assist with special projects and process improvements across the accounting function.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in accounting management, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and internal controls.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and general accounting operations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in manufacturing, utilities, construction, industrial services, or multi-company environments is a plus.
CPA or CMA designation is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
