Senior Accountant

Hungary Franchise is a dynamic and fast-growing organization committed to operational excellence and financial integrity. As we continue to expand our presence in Qatar, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Lusail.

Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires a proactive professional with strong analytical capabilities and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management
• Improve and streamline accounting processes and controls

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
