Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Dubai and the ability to handle full accounting operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial planning
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Control expenses and improve financial efficiency
• Prepare payroll and manage employee-related financials
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in Dubai
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations
• Experience in contracting, construction, or trading companies (preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
