Position: Senior Accountant

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses (bank deposits and budgets). His/her responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, Trial Balance, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.

Responsibilities

· Manage all accounting transactions

· Prepare budget forecasts

· Publish financial statements on time

· Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

· Ensure timely bank payments

· Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

· Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

· Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity

· Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

· Comply with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications

· Work experience as an Accountant for at least 2 years (Required)

· Education: Bachelor's Degree is a plus

· Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures

· Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger maintenance

· Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

· BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

· Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is an advantage

· Advanced MS Excel skills, including any account software tables
