Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Contributing to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections.
• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Ensuringcompliance with GAAP.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
• Perform monthly bank settlements
• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
· 5-8 Years experience in accounting or a related field
·Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Accounting software
·Excellent analytical skills to support day-to-day financial accounting functions.
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support internal and external interactions.
·Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
