Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and support the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Experience:

• 5–7 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in construction / contracting industry is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Handle general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors
• Review payroll and expense reports
• Assist in cost control and financial analysis

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
