Senior Accountant

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with solid UK accounting experience to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the fixed asset register and perform asset reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Conduct bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations accurately and timely
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations
• Ensure full VAT compliance, including input/output VAT, adjustments, and audit support
• Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting and financial planning
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions effectively
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
• Support year-end accounts preparation and external audit processes
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks

Requirements

• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified or finalist
• 2–3 years of hands-on UK accounting experience
• Strong experience in VAT filing and compliance
• Proven experience in management reporting and reconciliations
• Good understanding of cash flow management and forecasting
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lahore Johar Town: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
