Senior Accountant – West Los Angeles Pharmaceutical Company

A growing pharmaceutical company with offices in West Los Angeles is seeking a full-time Accountant with at least 5 years of accounting experience to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional who is detail-oriented, organized, experienced in managing day-to-day accounting functions, and interested in long-term employment.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel. This role requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail within a fast-paced pharmaceutical company environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing
• Work extensively with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Utilize GAAT system knowledge in daily accounting functions
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support audits and assist with financial documentation as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with GAAT system preferred
• College degree in Accounting preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
