Senior Accountant

We’re looking for an experienced accountant to support our accounts operations in Dubai. The role requires strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT compliance, corporate tax, and hands-on experience with reporting and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
• Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor reconciliations
• Assist with payroll, expense claims, and internal audits
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting ERP software (e.g., Firstbit, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP)
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA will be an added advantage

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
