We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to the company's continued success.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting management with financial analysis and decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee general accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Review and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Support management with financial reporting, business analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
