Senior Accountant

SV7 is looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting function across a growing group of companies. This is a hands-on, senior role for someone who can run day-to-day finance while bringing structure, accuracy, and discipline to a fast-moving environment.

You'll work across multiple entities and industries, so strong fundamentals and adaptability matter more than experience in any one sector.

What you'll own:

• The full accounting cycle — general ledger, journal entries, month-end / year-end close
• Accounts payable and receivable, end to end
• Supplier and vendor reconciliations, resolving discrepancies to keep balances clean
• Payments across multiple banks, currencies, and channels
• Bank reconciliations and accurate, up-to-date cash positions
• Petty cash, employee expense claims, and credit card reconciliations
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Fixed asset register and intercompany reconciliations across entities
• Payroll processing and related accounting entries
• Tax and statutory compliance across our jurisdictions
• External auditor liaison and audit cycle support
• Stronger internal controls and better finance processes as we scale

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including time in a senior or lead capacity
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or CMA) — a strong advantage
• Solid working knowledge of IFRS
• Proven experience with multi-entity, multi-currency books
• Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to own deadlines independently
• Cross-industry experience is a plus
